Over the last few months I have spent time optimizing my website for the search engines as well as regularly writing and submitting articles to the article directories and last night I decided to write an article about these two methods of generating free targeted traffic because of my own successful results which prove that the methods work.
At the time of writing, by typing two of my keyword phrases, namely:
internet income training; and
web income;
into Google, I am occupying 5 of the 10 top slots on page 1 for both keyword phrases in various forms i.e. my own website and my own articles from different article directories.

I recently experienced some very strange happenings with my website that made me realize how important Article Marketing is to my online home business income.
My online home business website usually enjoys good positions in the search results on the main search engines for the keywords that I have selected and optimized my site for. I keep check on these positions very regularly and one evening I noticed that the main page of my site was not appearing in the search results of Google. Some of the other pages of my site were appearing for the same keyword search, but lower down the order.
In my Google Webmaster Tools account, under the Index Stats, my main page did not appear in the list, yet the other pages of my site were clearly visible. If I clicked on the `current cache of your site` link the response was `no information available`. The `information we have about your site` link gave the save response. Yet, if I opened my site under the Google Toolbar, my site still scored a PR4. There was also no notification that I had violated Google’s quality guidelines. This was a very strange occurrence indeed.

Firstly, to all my blog readers – may 2007 be a really happy, healthy and prosperous year for you all.
There are days when I just cannot come up with a topic for my next article. I find this usually happens when I am actually not in the mood for writing a good informative article.
One can waste a lot of time searching for ideas, so I have now found a solution!!! When I do suffer from writer’s block, I search for the high PR Article Directories that I have not previously used and start submitting my existing articles to them.
While submitting my articles I usually find some inspiration for my next topic on the article directory site that I am submitting to – so this kills two birds with one stone – not only am I submitting articles but at the same time gathering topics for future articles!
