Did you know that you’re SEVEN TIMES more likely to get a visitor through the organic (free) search engines than through a pay-per-click ad!
That was a paragraph that really caught my attention in an email that I received today from Derek Gehl of the Internet Marketing Center.
Whilst we are all working hard at building backlinks to our online business websites so that we can increase our rankings in the search engines and benefit from the free organic traffic we can’t afford NOT to spend as much time as possible improving our site’s overall search engine performance.

In light of the current economic fluctuations many people will be experiencing a decrease in their financial status resulting in the need to find ways to earn extra income.
Single people will find it is easier to deal with economic shifts than the average family. Yet this current crisis no doubt took a lot of people by surprise. Who would have expected that fuel prices would double in a matter of a few months? In fact, I don’t know anyone who is not taken aback by the continuing rise in fuel prices. Not to mention the cost of food that increases weekly. This has to be the reason that more and more people have turned to the internet to earn extra income.
It is only natural to be skeptical of the majority of the methods that that you come across on the internet. Who wouldn’t be when faced with their claims of becoming a millionaire in months? However amongst the false advertisements there exist guidelines for real ways to create extra income.

I was thinking back today to 2006 when I joined the Plug-in Profit Site program and it was only about two weeks later that I learnt how important it was to optimize my site and to continually add unique content to my website.
I had never owned a website before and knew nothing about html, so I had no idea how I was going to achieve this.
