If you have some money to spend you can also do some paid pay-per-click advertising on some of the major search engines like Google, Bing,  Yahoo and Facebook. Now let’s take a look at List Building.  An autoresponder is an essential tool for building a list for your online home business.  An autoresponder allows you to place a form on your blog, website or whatever web page you are using to create interest in your product. It is a good idea to offer something free like a newsletter, free ebooks, a sample product or partial service, in order to get the people to subscribe and fill in their contact information.

Their information is then added automatically to your list of clients/potential clients in your autoresponder. This enables you to email them with updates, relevant information, new products or whatever you want to communicate with them in order to help you build your relationship with them.

The personal touch is becoming more valued simply because it is less frequent in this day and age. This is because everything is automated including customer service, sales, telephones and emails. Adding a little bit of personalization to your automated efforts will go a long way in establishing trust with your list and clients. You can do this by sending out cards every once in a while for holidays, communicate with them on Facebook and even make some phone calls.

Make the effort to show your subscribers and customers that they are important to you and ask them to give you feedback as this will open the communication channels.
